We have just downsized our car and can no longer carry our 2 bikes on a
tow ball carrier.
Can anyone recommend a rear carrier that will fit a Kia Picanto with a
spoiler at the top of the rear window?many thanks. Val

Goodness, that Kia Picanto website music is intrusive and annoying.
I don't have a car with a spoiler on the top of the rear window, but I
do have a Hollywood original rack which I've found lives up to their
claim of fitting loads of different cars. Simple, cheap, hassle free,
and if you stick a couple of decent hooks and chains into your walls at
home it serves fine as a domestic bike hanger too.http://www.hollywoodracks.com/trunk.htm#f1b
and also available at www.wiggle.co.uk

Try Halfords, they have a variety of racks in stock. I use a Paddy Hopkirk
derivative of theirs and it's fitted the last six cars that been through our
ownership. -

it finds the perfect rack for you. They only deal in high-quality
brands, so Halfords is probably cheaper, but, hey, you get what you pay
for...I have a hunch that spoiler is going to cause problems for you, though.
You might be better off going for a roof-mounted carrier.d.

unfortunately a roof rack is not possible...since hubby had a heart
attack lifting bikes above chest height is not a good idea. We are
determined not to give up the cycling though. The bike caddy raised
carrier is looking promising..fingers crossed. -

That probably depends on your budget... you can get hydraulically
assisted systems that will take the strain out of lifting bikes on to
the roof - but they don't come cheap.Quoted message said:

condition of the heart. (Also very good for the soul, I find.)Hope you find something suitable.
