  1. Ok, for starters:

1). 2005 Australian Madison Championships this Saturday 5th February. Go to Vodafone Arena, Melbourne Park - buy ticket, go to infield, watch the action, drink beer. The Madison is simply the most exciting track event you'll ever witness - even the spectators are left breathless!

Australian Madison Championship:Event & Booking details

2). Slickerty Jim Mutton Chop Review Presents the ASSC - Australian Singlespeed Championships this Saturday & Sunday 5/6 February at Dallas Brooks Scout Camp, Upper Beaconfield.

As for the SS Nats expect to see sightings of general tomfoolery, gentlemen dressed as ladies, gingham frocks, pinstripe suits, g-strings, wool clothing, possible nudity & copious amount of beer. And singletrack.

More news here, check guestbook: Deluxe Bicycle Club

NB: Must remember to tape Cycling Central at 11.30 Sunday, damn awkward timeslot & we keep forgetting about it....

The best bit from last Sunday's episode is here

There's a few aus.bicycle occasional posters making an appearance

Parbs - Expressing my individuality (according to Jim) or Singlespeed Nutter (one of my friends)

Geez.. I try everything to get famous and you just kick back and soak up
your national tv spotlights.. [censored]! 😉

I actually saw this episode because I left Glenvale and rushed home
(chasing Zebra-man). Grinned large when I heard the SS Nutter "praying".
Never made the surname association though.. your disguise is no more! 🙂

I wonder if Jim T is gonna put in an appearance at the SS Nats?

Actually, who here is going to the SS Nats?

A bit too far for me unfortunately. Will be doing the AROC Adventure Sprint in Sydney on Saturday and possibly the Manly Warringah
Bike Club XC race on Sunday if I'm not too stuffed from all the evil running on Saturday.

Re 1: Bit of a yawn. Just got back from it - NSWIS team wiped the floor with everyone else. I was dog-tired after work and morning ride (and late night the night before) and kept on falling asleep and getting laughed at.

Old shop regular (Tom Nankervis) won the keirin in fine style - nice to have a bit of vicarious kudos.
