Do you project your personality in yer bike?
I wanna know if we look at bikes like we do cars? Do we chose that bike to reflect our personalities or compensate for our short-comings? 🙄 i.e. BIG TRUCK syndrome!

I wouldn't say that my bike refects my personality, but what i wear on the bike does,

Would that be a blue collar with spikes? Heh heh.

You don't read anything into this one do you?
Holy hellsbells .. should you allow that out in public? So is the gentleman riding/driving/piloting wearing his spandex cycling outfit and what does THAT say about him?

Of course she does seem to have a curious smile of satisfaction on her face! 😄
"Andrea Blaescki, a tired but happy world record holder."
That is way COOOOOOOL. Tell me about this bike/craft (?!?!?) and Andrea ..

The only similitude between my BIG Ford F150 4x4 PickUp TRUCK and my Trek 2300 bike is the color, they are black.
Well, to be honest there is another similitude: they are only drive by me 😄
Regards
Does that mean you are territorial? My get-away car is also black and is nicknamed "The batmobile" - I think it suits me fine though some have said I should get a mini coupe (British car) cos it would suite my personality more, I'm British; but, I am thinking if I put a couple of bikes on a rack at the back it will tip right over! My bike is red/black and silver so maybe I think I am some sort of flying machine out on the roads - naaaaaaaaaa in my dreams!) We all have to have dreams ..

That means that I’m absolutely territorial and beware the one that mess with my things … with out my permission. I love to see somebody that I care driving my truck or riding my bike, but that only happens once in a while so statistically does not count.
My truck is called “La Troca” that is how this class of vehicles are called in the northern part of Mexico, my bike is “la belleza negra” or “the black beauty” and I can tell you, she’s gorgeous.
I know the Mini, they are amazing little British bullets (but I think that right now it’s owned by the German’s BMW). If you get one, we can put our bikes in the roof rack of your Mini and then load the Mini in my truck =).
In the other hand, you can always get a Jag, or perhaps an Aston Martin?
Do you have a pick from your car? Here's one from my truck.
Regards
Unfortunately .. I have not a single picture of my black beauty; but, it is a racy Mitsubishi 3000GT so I have to fling my other machine into the back (carefully I might add) - don't want to ding the paint work .. on the bike! Your truck certainly is BIG - looks like you could haul the whole US cycling team in that one. Yep, sad to say the mini is made by BMW. I used to wizz around the English countryside in an old one owned by my friend .. that thing used to go like the devil and take corners like you wouldn't believe and especially fast going down hill with the wind behind me .. I am not sure what THAT mini said about me in those days .. poor, pennyless Rod Stuart fan probably! You would be surprised how many of my mates I could cram into that thing - when we stopped people just kept spilling onto the street! My car now says about me .. catch me if you can!

Sorry about the pic, maybe this can help.
It looks fast, very fast. And I already read some of the features, it’s must be an amazing journey …
Yes, I can load 8 bikes and 7 MTB racers (plus my self), go up into the mountain and unload all the team in one trip, but for the black beauty I’m planning to put something more gentle on the truck bed because I feel it will get angry if I treat her as my MTB bike.
That adventure in the Mini, what kind of music where you listen at? I’m imagining Tommy by The Who, The Song Remains the Same from Led Zeppelin or The Dark Side of the moon from Pink Floyd.

Read the introduction to this thread and thought, hmmm, that sounds interesting. Then everyone started talking about cars instead. As I've been known to do some frightfully silly decorations on bikes & helmets, I won't go into details.
Anyway, I'll go with the flow (even though one has never owned a car) and give you this mildly amusing link:

Why?

Why?
Because no one is discussing their bike, it's all about cars!
