  1. How should they fit? I'm assuming that the straps should be a bit firm (for lack of a better word) over the shoulders, and they'd be a bit more hugging in the groin area than knix. Do they loosen up a bit after a few outings like most things??

  2. Yep, brand new bib&Brace are like brand new knix, kinda tight first off.
I think after the first few wears you’ll see them loosen up.
Lycra, gets looser & looser as you wear it, untill it wears thin (see thru) or gets baggy.

The straps should be firm over the top of the shoulders. They should have a tendency to make you want to hunch over when you're standing. This is so that they are nice and snug when you're in the seated position on the bike.

I'm not sure how you cope with such tight straps. It is likely to give you shoulder and backache if they are so tight they make you hunch over. Leave them so you can just feel them and they still remain snug. And you don't have to put up with the tight waste band of normal nicks. 😉
