  1. I know there was an old thread about the best looking pro team jerseys, but what about this year's bunch? I really liked the 2004 US Postal uniform, but the new Discovery Channel one seems pretty bland to me. Likewise, the old red Saeco uniform looked pretty good, but the new Lampre-Caffita one is again nothing special.

Can't pick a best looking one out of this year's Protour teams, but the worst ones in my opinion would be Illes-Balears. Most of the others haven't changed too much. I guess the blue/white Quickstep jersey would be my best of a bad bunch.

    Other opinions?

  2. CSC kits to me are the best looking in the peleton.

I like Phonak - was able to get one fairly cheap ($40US) back when they were temporarily kicked out of the pro tour. I also like Fassa Bortolo. Neither has changed much for '05.

  4. I think T-Mobile, Quickstep and Rabobank

Discovery Channel, and Phonak (I'm gonna get skewered for that one!)

  6. Phonak, Gerolsteiner, Rabobank, Health Net: all pretty cool.
    T-Mobile:

  7. Fassa Bartolo & Liberty Seguros - best (have been for years)
    Bouygues Telecom & Saunier Duval-Prodir - worst

Good place to see Giro team kits...

  8. I still like the Euskatel kits, at least you can pick them out of the bunch! The old Team Once kits were 😎 too.

Good link. Having perused the pics, I reckon Domina Vacanze is pretty tacky (palm trees?). If T-Mobile wasn't pink (or magenta), their jersey would be my pick - almost retro and understated. But just not in pink.

  10. I like the Gerolsteiner uniforms! They are pretty mellow on the eyes, but you can pick them out of the crowd.

  11. no one has said Lotto-Domo yet

i reckon the colours are really nice and bold

liquigas also look great in the flesh. im very impressed. havent found a full zip jersey yet in these colours

i think there are too many blue jerseys out there now. discovery, fassa, quickstep, lampre, gerolsteiner, liberty seguros... theres prob more ive left out

Big second to all this. I love the Lotto look. And all the blue, geez! Too much.

Someone also mentioned the old ONCE jerseys; I agree. And I really loved the old Mapei jerseys, the ones with the paint chips.

T-Mobile is easy to identify, but I'm sorry, it's not magenta. It's pink.

  13. CSC and Euskaltel

with an honourable mention to Gerolsteiner

  14. Team BIANCHI 2003 tour. JAN ULRICH. That retro baby blue/turquoise was simple yet cool looking...

Yep, too much blue out there - it gets boring. Geez, you'd think the teams/designers could be a bit more adventurous in their color schemes. Doesn't have to be neon green or whatever....

  16. FDJ(don't know about those white shorts though), Credit Agricole.

Davitamon-Lotto ruined things by adding the orange. Discovery are nice from a distance...so you can't see the scales! Domina Vacanze reminds me of some tacky 70's wallpaper!

  17. Best: QuickStep
    Worst: Bouygues Telecom
