A feeling as a parent that is guaranteed to reduce to a blubbering mess
    🙄

  4. Much as I admire Lance, I think the current results of this poll are scewed because of the current press coverage. How many of the people voting know enough about the others mentioned to make a realistic comparison? Still that is what you'd expect in a popular newspaper poll as opposed to one conducted amongst cycling afficionado's.

As Indurain said, "Lance is the greatest TdF ride rof all time, not the greatest cyclist of all time".

    Eddy Merckx, for me.

Or, as a suggestion, you could vote for a actual bicycle over here:

*sniff* and then, before ya know it, they ride off on their own to complete a 100km ride while the parent who used to run along beside them has to wait for some spokes to arrive to replace the three that snapped on the way up the last hill

    ha 😄

my 10yr old did 65km recently which absolutely astounded me!
I kept asking her if she was OK and If she wanted to stop but she said it was too much fun!!! <insert images of evil sporting-father planning daughter's ascent to olympics here 😄>.
We got home and she said "you know dad. I 'get' you now" 😄😄😄😄😄😄😄
oh, they know how to wrap you around their finger... 🙄

hehe. she's on a slicked up giant mtb at the mo. If she keeps up the interest she can have whatever she wants/needs. Actually swimming is her thing. does squad (which is funny cos she AINT a morning person 😄).
Luckily she hates running so no evil suggestions from you Tam! :p

Im starting to point out roadrules to her whenever we're in the coffin so she starts to get a feel for it. might take her out on some quiet mornings, but its all path stuff at the mo...

besides, i'd rather spend $ on her doing something cool like that rather than pokemon [censored] or gameboy games 🙄

  15. Looking at the results so far, it seems the poll should be titled "What
percentage of people will vote in a poll on a subject about which they know
    nothing"...
