What do you guys think? I am trying to get a book to educate myself and do it the right way.
Thanks

That's a good question. I'll be watching this thread for some answers. This ought to pop it back up to the top again. 😉

If you realy wanna do it the right way get a coach.
i bought The Ultimate Ride, by Chris Carmichael, and The Cyclist's Training Bible by Joe Friel. both are great books that i've used to create my own training program.
i recently purchased Food for Fitness by Chris Carmichael. so far, i like what i'm reading about fueling your body for workouts.
good luck.

Thanks ill go out ang get those.
I also bought The Ultimate Ride, by Chris Carmichael, and The Cyclist's Training Bible by Joe Friel...they are great. The Training Bible is more for experienced riders. It suggests you have atleast 1 year of base training before you start it's planning.
The Ultimate Ride is a good start, I also have The Lance Armstrong Performace Program by Lance Armstrong and Chris Charmichael. I think it is a good one to start with. Hope this helps out!
You might also try 'Fred Matheny's Complete Book of Road Bike Training'. Available at www.roadbikerider.com.
