'bent views please.....

Well, having looked at the Dutch web sites my immediate reaction was that there was a distinct lack
of gear range with the Nexus hub gear. Although the bike looks very comfortable. I also noticed
that you can buy a s/h one on Nederlands for about GBP150 to 200 so it's almost worth a one day
excursion thru the tunnel! I started my "dark side experience" with a Ross (Orbit) Crystal and
although I didn't keep it long it convinced me that 'bents were for me. These seem to change hands
for about GBP250 to 350 and are a good ride. Then I graduated on to a s/h trice www.ice.hpv.co.uk
and loved it. So, go luck with whatever you buy, and if you are in the south east you may like to
try mine some day.

Steve, Thanks very much for that. I have to say that my ultimate will be a trice and one day I'll
get there, national lottery or inspirational business permitting ;-) In the meantime, the Dawes

It was also sold as the Flevobike Basic, but anyway. The sadly defunct magazine "Recumbent
UK" tested one of the variants; as I recall they said it was a reasonable prospect though no
speed demon.
