  1. Bent my rear disc rotor the other day while riding some killer rocks.
Straigthened it pretty easily using a crescent wrench.

Do youse think it's OK to keep riding on it indefinitely or should I get a
    new rotor?

It's fine. Spin the wheel while it's up in the air and see if it rubs. If
    not, you're good to go.

If you do long downhills with lots of braking, the rotor could heat up
enough so that the crystalline structure of the metal relaxes and residual
stresses release. This will put it out of true again, so-to-say. This will
happen regardless of whether you bent it first or not.

  3. Congratulations getting it back true...keep riding on it. I do not have
luck straightening rotors. I have bought new ones from Hayes that are not
perfectly true. I am not as picky with rotor noise as I once was.

If you don't use your brakes, it's all flat. Keep the bike. Lose the
    brake.
