bent crank... what do i replace it with?

If you have a BB30 cannondale frame with the Si BB adaptor you WILL need to have the adaptor removed with the appropriate 'puller'. You can remove this adaptor in all frames but the Synapse.

With the tools you have it sounds like you have enough to remove the cranks and the bottom bracket but not the adaptor. It's a beast of a tool and will likely cost more than your frame to purchase!

Once you get the BB30 threaded adaptor out you'll need to clean all the loctite residue out and install the circlips and bearings prior to installing a BB30 crank.

If you don't fancy the 'big spend' on a BB30 crank like a Cannondale Si Hollowgram or a SRAM Red crank then you can leave the BB30 adaptor in and just install a different 'regular' bottom bracket or 'standard' crank.

The Cannondale Si Hollowgram crank is a work of art. It has a removable spider so you can change from 110bcd (compact) to 130bcd (regular) - you can pick them up on eBay, or for a kings randsom, direct from a Cannondale main dealer. Specialized recently introduced their S-Works crank which is similar. I believe it's BB30 compatible, is a little more readily available but is still more than $500 for the cranks.

so the adaptor is to use a BB30 crank? can you recommend a crank in the price range i posted?

No, if you have a CAAD9 frame that is BB30 compatable, the adaptor is to use 'other' bottom brackets - ie ones with standard 'english' threads.

To use a BB30 crank with press in bearings you need to remove this adaptor.

No there are no BB30 bottom brackets with square taper. What you have is a "normal" square taper bottom bracket. The CAAD9 frame should be compatible with a BB30 bottom bracket if you wish to use one but, as Swampy has said you will need to remove the current BB and the required BB30-square taper adapter first.

If you want to stay with the square taper BB (or another square taper BB), leave the adapter in place and you'll need to find a square taper crank (not so hard) which matches the taper dimensions (could be a bit harder).

If you want to use an external bearing BB then you need to ditch the square taper BB and replace it (many options there, Shimano, Campagnolo etc). Leave the adapter in place for these too.

If you want to upgrade to a BB30 you'll need to remove the adapter (as explained by Swampy) get the required bottom bracket and a set of compatible cranks. This leaves you with Cannondale's own Hollowgrams, FSA or SRAM (I think).
