This was a device to emulsify milk and butter back to a cream. I'm looking for one or more to buy or trade.
They were made in the UK and I can't find any info on the company and have seen a reference that says they're out of business.
Anybody know anything about the maker or the product?
TIA.

I don't know about that product, but my food processor's cookbook had instructions for turning milk and butter into cream.

Could you post that recipe, Vox? I've never seen an instruction like that, and would love to try it.
Thanks, Wayne

Forget the product. You can do it in a blender if you can use a quart at a time.
My cream cheese page describes the process in detail for making cream cheese but you can use it for anything you would normally use cream for.
Basically, you add butter and either an egg yolk or lecithin as an emulsifier to just about any sort of milk and blend for a minute or so and voila....! cream.

should have known you'd know how to do it. Thanks. Great site.

Beat me to it. I'd like to see that, as well, if you don't mind. What brand of processor?

The cookbook that came with my Braun food processor recommended the following as a way to make cream from milk and butter.
100ml/4oz warm milk 150g/5oz just melted unsalted butter (double cream) 100g/4 oz unsalted butter (whipping cream) 75g/3 oz unsalted butter (single or pouring cream)
Put ingredients in the work bowl of the food processor and process until fully blended. Chill before use, then stir or whip as required.
Makes about 225ml/8oz cream

Excellent. Thanks. That double cream might be interesting.
