Children are not driven into sports by the things you mention, money and fame. Some like contact sports like football, other classy sports like tennis and others an outdoor sport like cycling simply because its fun and because they are appealing to them. Then you through in some talent and parental and community support and you've got a future professional or sport for life situation.Originally Posted by Velostage .

You don't need dreams of fame and glory to compete hard. All it takes is a competitive spirit. The competition is the best reason for doing it and is why so many amateurs go out and race during the week and on weekends.Originally Posted by danfoz .

You introduced your blog, and that's unquestionably ok. However, so far your contributions to the forum only seem blog related. That can a look a bit like what spammers do.Originally Posted by Velostage .
May I ask why not? It seems like people are commenting about it on here, and I can't see any rules/guidelines which we have to stick to. We're not making any money from the site, we're just here to keep people up to date+talk to the members.
I suppose so. I do read the forums quite regually, but I don't post. Suppose I should change that eh.Originally Posted by alienator .

You can create a signature here using the "My Profile" link at the top of the page, and in the signature you can include the URL of your blog as well as other stuff, perhaps like the date of latest blog entry.Originally Posted by Velostage .
