  1. I live in the UK and on Wednesday, I did cycling at Rutland Water, near Leicester. The bike I hired
was a Kona McRae Ltd. Because I have only ever had =<£50 bikes, the ride was amazing. Such a light
frame - you can ride over such rough ground and it's still so comfortable. It's tough, so there's no
    problem. It feels really reliable.

I've been looking at getting a new bike for a while, so I looked on the internet for second-hand
Kona dealers, but I couldn't even find anyone selling this bike new, let alone s-h. Does anyone know
of any s-h Kona dealers in South London, please, or a dealer which will post to London cheaply?

    TIA

    Liam

Actually, the McRae isn't /that/ nice a bike. It was just a commercial tie-in with the Rally driver
and there are nicer bikes around for the money, IMHO.

The McRae was a 2002 model, I believe, and a limited edition at that. They're now just bringing out
2004 models, so your chances of finding one will be slim.

Does anyone know of any s-h Kona

Evans in Croydon will help you out: evanscycles.comevanscycles.com. The most important thing I can say
to you is to not set your heart on the McRae model. There may be other models that suit you better,
but a decent shop will take you through that.

Also, you may want to check out Cycle Surgery cyclesurgery.comcyclesurgery.com - they don't do Kona, but
they have five branches in the capital and have a good reputation.

Thanks for the help, Chickenbomb and Bomba. I had already checked out the Kona website, but the
other link was useful. Croydon is near to me, so I'll check out Evans.

    The advice was much appreciated.
