I've heard rumours that the Beatles are going to reunite and record a
new album, but with musical cyborgs taking the place of Lennon and
Harrison.

Is this true?

George Lucas is in a jam. He ended the Star Wars franchise?

However? He still has all this junk left over. Robots, some talented
computer guys and a promotional empire few can rival - - That stuff
need not go to waste!

So, he floats a trial baloon, "Return of The Empire of the '60s: Cybeatles"

I doubt his plan is for '05? He may wait the last two out...he's
nothing if not patient. (He milked the first film for over 25 years!)

Actually, I can't imagine that there isn't already a set of animatronic
Beatles figures set up for "performing" somewhere on the planet right
now.

Is that Yellow Submarine-based theme park still in business? (I think
it was in either France or Germany, heard about it around the time
