Dear Phil,

No, you've succeeded in confirming what some knew, some wondered
about, and some will now take a moment to test themselves, doing who
knows what kind of bad things to date-related sorters and readers.

I noticed a few odd 2007 dates, but was too lazy to look into it.

Yes, it says 2007 -- but since it's in a thread it stays "in place" if you
know what I mean.

I think if you start a NEW thread with that date, it will remain at the top
(or bottom) for...well, quite some time!

BTW, in a separate thread (previously) your date was 9 days ahead IIRC.
(It's Ken's that was/is months fast.)

Assuming I need sealed bearings in outback Australia for my Phil Wood
hubs, what type (part number/size) should I get? Timken and others must
make compatible sealed bearings....

I am assuming a worse case scenario where I have ruined all of what I
bring with me from Canada. Forget about waiting for another set of
genuine PW bearings to be couriered to me somewhere where planes don't
fly in and there is no bus service - the PW bearings are made by someone
else anyway, not by PW - that is my belief based on current
manufacturing strategies...
