I recently purchased a new Race Face Turbine crankset and a used Race Face Signature Ti bottom bracket on Ebay. The bottom bracket is a 68/73x113. Being that I'm not a master bike mechanic I am a little confused as to how this bottom bracket fits both English and Italian threads? Also, how do you guy's feel about these cranks? Thanks.............

Wonderful units. If my square taper Prodigy can take 3 yrs of racing and freeride then you are in for a treat.
I cannot give an explanation on threads, as I don't have my books with me, but suffice to say I have not seen any mtb in my time that had other than normal threading(really not a road bike either) so there is little worry other than curiousity. -

It doesn't fit both English & Italian (Italian bottom brackets are 70mm). It fits bottom bracket shells that are 68mm or 73mm wide with English threads. It's probably more appropriate to ask how folks feel about stuff before you buy. The better question now is, "How do you feel about the cranks?" -

Just shows how much of a rookie I am! Thanks.....I did talk to Race Face directly about the cranks. I also spoke to the person who sold them to me. I Called a mechanic at Speedgoat Cycles (all of them serious riders) and got their opinion also. I was just looking for more feedback. As far as the cranks go, I think they are well worth the money.....Thanks once again.
