My heartfelt sympathies and condolences go out to the families and loved ones of the deceased cyclists. I ride pretty often on Stevens Canyon Road, Montebello Road and Mt. Eden Road and my heart sank when I saw the news on TV...

  2. I concur. What a tragedy...

  3. I wonder what the video camera in the sheriff's SUC will show. I bet he was pretending to be Michael Schumacher.

  4. I got this from Usenet:

"According to a 4th rider, who was a little behind the group that was
hit the deputy got out of his car mumbling about how he must have
fallen asleep. From videos of the crash site the cop car crossed the
double yellow lin, crossed the oncoming lanes of traffic crossed the
bke lane and ended up on the hillside. No skid marks could be sceen in
    the video I saw. "

  5. The Dep-uh-dee is inconvtravertably guilty of negligence and therefore involuntary manslaughter...period. He should be prosecuted accordingly and expeditiously. He should also face an 8-figure civil suit from the families of the crime victims, rendering him broke for life. Breaking the very laws one is sworn to uphold and killing those one has sworn to protect is the ultimate betrayal of trust and deserving of the ultimate penalty of justice.

As for the MN (garbarge Leftist drivel - suitable only for wiping my ass), it deserves to have a few of its loved-ones driven into the turf by the Pigs to hopefully instill a sense of empathy, rather than what appears to be pro-Pig bias. What a plebian journalistic [censored]!! Utter toilet fodder.

  6. This adds a lot of detail.
