    the batter here is 1 cup chickpea flour. i made that change.

    Uh, by itself, flour of any type is *not* a batter. Batter implies a
    liquid.

    i just pasted what was missing in the recipe.

    flour mixed with other ingredients in my recipe will make it a batter
