Base layers for larger folk

According to the Helly website XXL fits 48.5" chest and XXL fits 51.5", so
an XXL may stretch far enough.
The Helly online shop doesn't seem to stock anything in XXXL though.

aerobic activities." so a motor bike isn't compulsory.

XXL is a bit of a lottery and the odds are stacked against it fitting :-(

The last one looks very promising. I might even ressurect my CB500 to get
maximum use out of it :-)

The same old advice to keep an eye out for Aldi and Lidl offers. For base
layers not just cycling; walking and ski-ing will also have suitable items.
Aldi did ski-ing about 2 weeks ago and I got one that would fit a 50" chest.
Only trouble is the weather has been so warm that when I wore it for the
first time on Sunday I had to take off an outer layer because I was too
warm!

Most of my cycling kit is Aldi. The top half of my body was clad in Aldi's
windstopper undershirt, a winter cycling shirt and a winter jacket for my
100km Sunday ride. Initially I was toasty but this years kit is a tad less
generous in its cut and I had bits of flesh exposed that could have done
with being covered to keep me warm as the temperature dropped and to avoid
the startling of folk with a less than robust disposition. I'd not thought
about ski wear - that's a new avenue to explore....

I've found a brand that goes to XXXL and does the job. It's the Canterbury
range made for a New Zealand Company and is manufactured in China. It's
elasticated and cheapish at £15. Apparently it's designed as an
undergarment for rugby.
