Is there anyone here from Barrie ontario??? I am sure after the Live 8 concert everyone knows where Barrie is... I'm just looking to see if there is anyone in the area!!

I was in Barrie last year for an Elevation show at the Foundation club (or something like that). Interesting place.

I used to drive through Barrie all the time on the way up north. I never stopped though - there isn't anything there is there?

yeah there's plenty there... just like any city... it's no toronto... but it's definately no tim buck too!!!

I could go on and on about what's there... but there's no need to brag... Lovely city, at the heart of the outdoors and the big city and a perfect place to raise a family. -
When I think of Barrie, I think of the tornado that hit about 23 years ago. That's all.
But I'll be there (at least in that region) on the August 1 long weekend, with my recreational bicycle club. So perhaps I'll leave with a better impression than I currently have.
