I have to say that I still think REbellin has a better chance with a divided Italian team that at the worst would ignore him. For crying out loud, he gets no team mates from Argetina. He guaranteed that at best he is only in an equal situation (no help) unless he was afraid he would be asked to work. I actually think what it is (I am serious here) he is a highly ethical person (and a cyclist too!) and he would have not attacked any Italians on his team. Now he can attack them with a clear conscience. So there you have it. He beleives he is stronger than the rest of them put together and he may be right if he has the same form he did this spring. That would be amazing for him to close the season with the rainbow jerseys (horizontal and vertical) while representing a nation on his own.
