"other" parts. Fortunatly his girlfriend was there to administer first

He and the rest of the group headed down to the parking lot. I and
another guy went on to finish the ride. There were a few switchbacks.

Then we rode stairs and small trails back to Bad Durkheim.

I passed on the famous picture of the Fass as I've got enough of those
and there was the monthly flea market going on.

whoa dude, you are missing the whole point of the post! It's a ride report,
not a "please critique my photos" post!! I'm sure that if he wanted tips he
would have asked... On this newsgroup, last I heard, it's about the ride,
not about the camera, composition and contrast. That would be alt.photo.snob
or something like that.

We can't all be Pete F, not that I'd want to be either. ;-)

like that, but I've been so caught up with biking and drinking beer.

My pc has Photoshop while the laptop doesn't. Do I sit in the basement
getting my photos just right or plant my lazy ass on the terrace with a
Fat Tire clone? If you're offering to clean them up for me...

It was meant to be a quick post with the RR thrown in for extra measure.

Actually found quite a bit of singletrack on this last ride. You'd
probably enjoy it. The tour leader was talking about putting together

It's okay, - I think some of the problems were due to low light
possibly Venus blocking the sun... Not anything to do with me being
lazy... Those were mainly placeholders for the raw photos. Those who
were in the pictures who wanted them got the full unretouched photos. I
figured I'd let them do the work.

I checked those URLs on my machine (2.4.4 kernel, KDE 3.1) with
FireFox .06, Mozilla 1.6 and konqueror.

I hate reading RFCs, but do like doing research... RFC 1738 appears to
include the "_" as a character that can be used unencoded in a URL.
But then RFC 3467 says some DNSs don't support the underscore because
it resembles the hyphen. And RFC 952 doesn't allow it either...
Shows me that I should have done a little more research before
changing my userid with T-Online. The next time I change it I'll be
sure to conform. Or not. I'm thinking of something with an umlaut
maybe.

As tech support is so likely to say "that's strange, my machine works
just fine"

It wouldn't have occured to me that underscores were a problem,
honestly. I'm still suspicious of hyphens =P
