gastroenteritis: in other words: nasty diarrhea, probably
caused by a bacterium or virus.

old boy in Tunisia? Or a 24-year-old man in Florida? You
could have cholera for all we know.

If one examines the header, specifically this line:

a simple ping to resolve the host name will indicate that
this is a comcast owned IP address

Further research at ww1.arin.netwhoisOpen ↗ will tell you
that it is an eastern USA IP address who's netblock is
assigned to a comcast company located in Pennsylvania.

An infection of the GI tract; such infections can produce
very severe diarrhea. The severity of the diarrhea is not
necessarily correlated with the gravity of the disease.
However, severe diarrhea can produce dehydration and
especially a serious loss of electrolytes, which can become
life-threatening (that's how cholera kills its victims).
Make sure you get plenty of fluids and watch your
electrolytes; eating food helps replace them, if you can
keep down food. If the diarrhea is sufficiently severe or
prolonged you might need a trip to the ER or a visit from a
doctor to provide you with some more specific electrolyte
replacement to match whatever you are loosing (special
drinks or IV rehydration).

A way to treat cholera, for example, is with aggressive oral
fluid replacement using special drinks that provide the
correct replacement of electrolytes. If the patient can be
kept from dehydrating or drifting too far out of electrolyte
balance, the disease usually resolves after a couple of
days. But in the Third World and sometimes elsewhere,
without the fluid and electrolyte therapy, people die from
the loss of water and essential electrolytes before the
disease can resolve.
