    Add water! sheesh

Have you noticed that's your advice for everything today?

LOL! Only the microwave thread... <snapping fingers>
    Stay with me, Nancy!

You want people to put water in the microwave? Whatever for?! 😉

You'll probably want to refrigerate things with lots of starches in them
that you plan on eating in the future. And proteins. And fats. See the
    pattern...? <G>

    Pastorio

Well of _course_ I can see the pattern Bob - this wasn't left there to eat
later, it was merely forgotten amongst the clutter of a very busy few days!
I'm a knowledgeably guy generally, not to mention I studied microbiology for
a while some time ago... mind you most of my study time was taken up with
the burning of plant matter and inhaling the resultant smoke... so... yeah,
best forget about what I can't remember, heheheheh...

I only mentioned the bowl of rancid stuff by way of an example of how fast
these kinds of things can turn nasty... REAL nasty... heheheh...

    CHEERS!

  3. Thanks everyone! The flatulence has passed (no pun intended).

Shortly after I posted about this problem, my computer up and died.
Crash commandeered Kidzilla's birthay gift (new computer and hard
disc), and built a new system for me. We owe Kidzilla a new computer.

I have only Internet Explorer so far, so if anyone needs to contact me,
please do it through my [email hidden] address.

I'll get caught up when I have Agent again.

Let's hope that Rita won't be the enormous disaster that Katrina was.
But I'm not holding my breath. :-(

LOL... now that you mention it, my microwave is basically an expensive
    tea kettle.

I always have, too. But not again, not after last night!

You know, Carol, that's why I tend to shy away from making
pots of bean soup, the leftovers get all thick and icky looking.
Luckily it's pretty cheap so you don't lose a lot in tossing the
    leftovers.

I use a lot of Parkay margarine tubs augmented with Glad freezer
containers. And a large chest freezer.

The cause of my bloating and methane gas burps has been identified.
The bean soup has been declared, "Not Guilty."

It seems I have a bad reaction to Cheerios! At this very moment, I am
dying. Or wishing I were. Who knew?

Anyway, I just wanted to pop in to let folks know that they don't have
to be careful in the extreme with their bean products.

I told you Cheerios makes my pee smell funny! And yep, gives me heartburn,
    too.

Did you have milk with those Cheerios? Perhaps you've developed a
lactose intolerance? It isn't unheard of to develop one later in life.
My mother developed it after her hysterectomy.
    Try some Lactaid. 🙂

We have Lactaid on hand for Crash. I'll give it a shot. But I'm very
wary of Cheerios at this point (this is painful!). I'll try with a
    different cereal.

Kili, I don't have your lovely symptoms, thank goodness!

    Thanks!

So, what's the deal? What ingredient are you allergic to?

It sounds truly awful. Do you know for sure it's not a wheat allergy?

Are you kidding? I keep bean soup in the fridge for a week.

Me, too. Or longer. Never had a problem.

So do I. Also baked beans.
