  1. Hi all,

Some may remember me - although maybe not many. I lost
my weight originally from Jun 2000 to Feb 2001, when I
made Lifetime. This group was a great help to me then
and on the subsequent months of maintenance. In August
of 2003, I had been creeping up on my weight, but
    discovered I was pregnant.

    I delivered a healthy 9 lb boy last Monday. While he's a
joy, the 45 lbs I gained while pregnant are not. And, of
course, the extra pounds I was carrying prior to the
    pregnancy are still there.

So, today I'm back on program. I'm using the old 1-2-3
program until I can get to a meeting. The online programs
won't let me join while bf'ing - and the registration fee
seems a waste considering that I'm a Lifer. The old program
gave nursing moms an extra 10 points a day, which is
consistent with my healthcare provider's suggestion of 500-
    700 extra calories/day.

Obviously the first few pounds (including the 9lb baby!)
came off quickly. I'm already down to 178 for my MNW. Goal
is the same old WW goal of 10% to start - so I'm shooting
for 160, on my way to 150.

Looking forward to being part of the group again.

    Best, Diane

  5. Thanks, Connie. I was hesitant to get on the scale so
quickly. I hadn't weighed myself throughout the
pregnancy, relying only on the doctor's scale and
concentrating on "eating to hunger, drinking to thrist"
    to help my baby thrive.

But I needed to know so I could set my Points level.

  11. Thanks. I went to a meeting last night and discovered that I
get a three month grace period to get back to my goal. I
    weighed in at
