I'm looking for some Avid Tridangles (canti brake crossover
cable thingies). Anybody's local bike shop have some hanging
on the wall? These things have been out of production for a
long time and I'd like some for the Bridgestone.

I'm kinda shooting in the dark since I don't know exactly
what you're looking for, but will any of these work? <http:-

The Weinmann is the closest but I believe the Avid's were
wider and had set screws to lock the cable against the
carrier? It's been awhile.

I've got them in stock, as well as the Tektro copies (which
I personally prefer)
Check the intbike.com link for contact info.

Its an easy convetion go V brakes . And a lot easier to
adjust. Make sure you get V brake levers . I've done the
convertion a few times

That's all fine and good when you've got a bike that can
readily accept Vs. Sometimes, like with my Cadex (with
road bike levers) or with certain small framed Specialized
or GT bikes, there is no really good way to install a
cable stop. Also, generally speaking, Cyclocrosses tend to
prefer cantis.
A properly set up, adjusted, quality set of cantis are every
bit as good as V brakes. I like Vs primarily because it
removes the need for built-in cable stops.

mmm....Dangly parts. (from Harvey Birdman...adultswim.com)
I hear Salsa makes wider-than-normal dealies that improve
lever feel and brake response...but I have no real
experience with them (my cyclocross days begin tomorrow when
I order my CrossCheck frame. Kickass).
Sorry my post was of little assistance.
