Nah, I actually meant it! The first run has been snapped up.

is there any 'best-practic' conventions for putting em in spokes?

rode 'TB1' into werk today, and spoke card was makin a racket on the speedy/downhill bits

could tell it was my first fixed for a bit. paused momentarily but got the big 'Wakeup. we aint waiting for you' call from the pedals 😄😄😄

ie: close into the hub, easier with 3 cross, not so easy with those nu radial spokes. If you have one of those Shimano sets, try mounting it with the newer reflector mounts (!) Also mount it on the non-drive train side for best results.

ghostgum thinks that flyingdutch must have pegged it to the seat stay such that it got hit be every spoke that went past. :-) Does laminated plastic last longer than the old cardboard ones?

Now that's a surprise. I thought they were like the cards we used to put
on our forks with a clothes peg when I was a kid. Facing in from the
forks to the spokes so they made a nice loud clicking sound as you rode
along.

These days, we tend to think more about stealth and longevity 🙂
