Interesting coincidence re:
3.3.2 Does anyone know where I can get my frame re-sprayed?

At present I'm spray painting/fiddling about with a Dean frame*, that apparentely had welding repairs done at Hillbrick. Small world.

I saw a guy in Ringwood lock up his bike outside Rebel..
It was a dual-susp. Marin with some trick bits including
(I think..) HED deep-vee carbon rims!!!!
It was had red slicks - dunno why you'd bother
slicking up a duallie...

I'll think about it, do have pics of the frame hanging up pre-spray with bits strategically covered in masking tape.

So far: LX Deore brakes, Ditch Witch rims, Big Cheese grips (style is important), Judy SL forks, um got to track down one of those singulator thingies. Still figuring out cranks & gear ratios.

Oh, haven't mentioned yet, it's a lovely *Holden Sandlewood* shade, noice. 😉

Sounds nicer than my "good" bike!

You could try another tensioning method - no tensioner,
filed dropouts, filed axle, eccentric hub (White Industries
ENO), old deraileur (my method), horizontal dropouts done
by GripSport, etc.
Plus there are quite a few tensioner options available. I
don't have anything against the Singulator it's just that
tensioners are pretty costly for what is basically a
stripped-down derrailer.

heaps of chain tensioning options...
