  1. I just tried the cheesecake at Ruby Tuesday. It was AWESOME! Now there's
gotta be a better place to buy it than the restaurant - $35. Anybody know
    where??

    Thanks Drela

    Here's their site:

Guess how much their shipping is for a $17.95 cheesecake? $35
    You "save" $17.95 at Ruby Tuesday's. <BG>

    Take care,
    Carmen

Yeah....your local food store...make your own...you'll know better what's in
it and you can better control protion size...or at least know how much you
    ate...

You shouldn't be eating cheesecake anyway.

Why not? It's made of eggs, cheese, and nuts... sounds like breakfast
    to me.

Yeah, but it's also got things like maltitol and is very high calorie.
While I have eaten this cheesecake, it's hard to eat for me, as I've
already eaten my meal by the time I eat the cheesecake and the cheesecake
is another 400 calories beyond my meal. For a treat, it's fine, but the
other poster wanted to buy an entire cake -- something that would be a lot
of calories. For me, this would be utter suicide, as I cannot have a cake
like that sitting around. A friend made me a birthday cake and I threw it
away (after splitting some with friends). I can't have stuff like that in
my house, as it takes the place of more nutritious food and is way more
calorie dense than other stuff I could eat.

The main reason I go to Ruby Tuesdays is to have a slice of the cheesecake.
    It's a great treat!

Better than ordering an entire cheesecake and having it around the house I guess.

  9. Congratulations, Debbie, that's great!!
