Don't be extreme. Society is not to blame for your thinking like
this...there are many, mnay overweight people walking around and society is
not beating them down, as far as I can see.
You're talking outpatient surgery here, a one-day thing, that hopefully will
be of benefit to you. Why are you worried about a few hours of something
that you need being pumped into your viens? Since you lost all of that
weight, you should have learned by now that such short term conditions have
little to no impact - it's what you do over time that matters. If you use
this one event, that only lasts a few hours or so, as an excuse to binge on
all manner of junk food, then you have learned little of use on your
journey. Surely that is not the case, right?
