I have a pretty nasty case of athlete's foot (exacerbated by a cold flat and bad eye sight) which I also managed to turn into ring wom on my groin. I have been treating both, to various degrees of success, with antifungal cream from Boots (only £3.99, great value). However, I have just started to notice clusters of tiny red spots on the skin round my finger nails and on my fingers on both hands.
Do any of you know if this is likely to be a cross infection or something completely differently. If it is infact "Athlete's Hands" is it best to keep going with the cream or is there a better way to treat this particular problem?

Yes, I thought that too but it turns out that playing the sympathy card has the girls all over me like a fungal skin infection...
Thanks for the post, Stevek. I'm not sure that my case is quite as serious as some of the candida descriptions state it can be, but interesting to know if I have to visit the doctors about this.
