Duh! He's been on Cofidis for years, where Astarloa just joined.

It's on CN, too. Millar is a marquis rider, while Astarloa is a new
guy. If I were Millar, I'd be considering my options as well, though
David was named as one of those involved in the doping. Guess he's
got to clear his name first. Stuey should be able to pack up and go,
too. Short of purses and promotional opportunites, I expect they're
all getting salaries. Should salaries not be paid then the floodgates
open.

Saeco is out, according to CN, but already the names of Lampre and Fassa
Bortolo have been mentioned... if he does join Lampre, I would next hold
my breath for LeBlanc to invite the team to the Tour, so that after
losing two world champions (I don't think Cofidis is going to pull
through this), he can at least reclaim one. That would be the last step
towards making this TdF one for the books.

Sometimes more is more... just ask Bjarne Riis. It's not necessarily a
problem if you have a bunch of riders who can all win. It's a problem

everything I read (and is open to interpertation) would point to a
mutual agreement... Asta is a classics rider, and his value as such is
diminished by being left out of the Ardennes races.

It would be interesting to see where O'Grady would end up. He's not the
bunch sprinter he was and the don't seem to many openings for guys
looking for stae wins in the tours. He's not quite a classics guy
either. Suspect it's hard to find his niche,, at least at this point in
the season.

It would be interesting to see where O'Grady would end up.

Probably not back to Credit Agricole, as the team now has both Julian
Dean and Thor Hushovd. I think Banesto could use him. So could Saeco,
which hasn't had a really credible sprinter since Cipollini left.

He's had three WC podiums in the past two years, and would have had more
if he had not been seriously injured before this year's RvV (which was
one of his podiums last year). I think he's going to be a very good
classics rider.
