  1. I'm off to the Arrochar Alps on the 29/30th Nov but am still looking for a campsite. I was going to
stop at the Ardgarten FC campsite but it shut on 3rd Nov!!

Does anyone know of any others nearby? I was looking at the one at Luss marked on the OS 1:50 000
but I would like one a little closer.

    Cheers

    Andy

There's a Caravan Club one next door which probably doesn't take tents even if it's still open and
we found another when out for a lochside stroll just south of the FC one by the side of the loch. It
doesn't appear to be marked on the map and I couldn't tell you anything about it I'm afraid. Most
likely shut as well. There are apparently a number of caves/howffs in the area.

There is the one close to the Drovers Inn. It's probably not any closer than Luss but it does have
the benefit of a munro on it's doorstep and a good pub.

Come to think of it, could be a good venue for a UKRW expedition. Anyone?

The Caravan Club site is caravans only, Caravan Club members only and closed for the year on 29
