  1. Surprised not to see any posts on the 2006 ATB yet.
Anyone who is up to date with BV will most likely know there is a 250km option this year, alongwith the usual rides.
Interested to know what people think about it.

    often upstairs,
havent noticed any posts there either...

  4. I'll probably find out tomorrow whether we're doing the 250km or 210km.
    I have a feeling it'll be the 250...

I am leaning towards the 250, figure the earlier start may offer some chance of minimal ferry stress...

Not fair! Was planning to beat my time to Queenscliffe this year and catch the 9:00 am ferry. If I add 40 Km more then that wont happen.

  7. I'll be on the 210km to Queenscliff. Don't see any point in BV adding another 40km to the ride just for the hell of it.

Maybe the 40kms extra for the " hard core rider"?...why dont they run it in middle of winter to weed out us plebs!

I don't think it was just for the hell of it. BV did a survey to see how many people would be interested in 250km as another option... they obviously had a pretty good response.
I've done 200km rides before, but never 250... it's always fun to go a bit further/push a bit harder.
    Should be a good challenge.

  10. Maybe I'm not paying attention, and this has already been mentioned, but it appears you can only go over the Westgate if you go in the clockwise direction. So if you do the 250 km, no Westgate.
    What's going on???
