Josie Dew has a book on her tour of GB.

I haven't read this book of hers, but I have read the one about her trip round America. I have to
say I found it very boring in terms of cycling content (almost non-existent), other than the fact
that she happened to be on a bike. Just another travel book, and not too bad as such, but hardly a
real cycling book, I thought. Is this one any better in that regard?

given to a school mate by his girlfriend for his 18th. The book was entitled "Everything Men Know
About Women", and the back cover was full of the sort of proclamations one might expect on the
rear of a blockbuster (they were all made up).

The hundred-odd pages inside the book were all totally blank.

My Amazon order arrived today. I've just spent a very pleasurable 45 minutes in the bath with
Josie Dew.

I have to say that she seems to be taking a very long time to even reach the coastline. It's not
looking good if I can only afford to be away from a job for 6 months!

I also acquired a very cheap 2nd hand copy of the John Merrill book that somebody recommended. I
didn't share the bath with him.

I have a couple of bike travelogues I enjoyed. One was Anne Mustoe's 'A bike ride' and the other was
'Johnny Ginger's last ride'. Both a good read.

Must add the Josie Dew books to the amazon wish list...
