Hinault's second place for tour stages won. Does this include TTs? I

Merckx is first on that but I think what you heard was "most stages in
yellow". Which, if things go how the look, Armstrong may beat Hinault,
but couldn't hope to reach Merckx unless he comes back for 4 more
tours.Up to this year Armstrong had 21 stage wins, Merckx had 35.

because, people figured out how to beat it so easily with odd bike configs.
And then they threw all those out, and went back to the Eddy config. Better
to try RAAM. -
