Pretty thrilling, eh?
Anyone who was surprised probably learned nothing from the last couple
tours. Have the team set a murderous pace on the first real climb,
then pace Armstrong with the climbers, then he takes off. It may seem
predictable, but it's still damn exciting to watch happen.
Should be a great stage to Plateau de Beille, too.

It's probably Armstrong's tour now.............Have not had time to
examine today's stage, but I am convinced that Lance will win. Ullrich
has not been able to launch a major attack so far.

[censored], I was watching it live with 2km to go and thinking "Basso is going
to win this" when I saw a message in here with the header "Lance wins!"

After todays stage I think one can safely say that Ullrich is out of
contention. Ullrich has really shown any signs that he will win this
year. So far it seems like a repeat of his tours past. This assumes
that Lance does not crash out or completely bonks.
