No kidding. What nerve. Imagine a rider having the unmitigated gall to hop
on the wheel of another rider who's trying to bridge a gap to a breakaway.
I think LA should be banned from all further ProTour races for life.

So you've bought into Armstrong's contorted, revisionist history?

Nope. Not really. I remember seeing it when it happened. I thought it was
about the most boneheaded thing I've ever seen LA do. Of course, I only saw
what Phil and Paul showed us of it on OLN. I guess Lance would say that the
OLN coverage edited out some important details. I'd have liked to see the
Wah Wah part.

Why? It was more profitable for JML to keep Armstrong riding.

OK, I'll bite... what revisionist history? This is one of the few times I
can say that I was there, watching the race, reading about it later, hearing
about it from people associated with other teams. So far I haven't heard
anything lately that's been at odds with what I knew back then. Did
something come up that I've missed out on? Nothing on Cyclingnews.com
anyway...
