I haven't seen it yet but I heard he is a referee or something like that. APparently he has some connection with Ben Stiller. Stiller hosted a charity auction for the Lance Armstrong Foundation a while ago.

Haven't seen it, but at rottentomatoes.com and/or my local newspaper, "Lance Armstrong" was a cast member.

I just saw it, Lance appears in one scene where the team captain of avg Joe's dodge ball team is drinking in a bar after he quit the team. Lance basically shames him into returning to the team by telling how he beat cancer to win the tdf 5 times.

and thought that was the most random and funny part of the movie!

Ditto! I howled. Ben Stiller plays his role so over-the-top I found him more embarrasing than funny, but Vince Vaughn is very human & likeable, and Lance nailed his part. LA is just a 1 minute walk-on role, but all in all it's a cute movie.
