Arm warmers/protectors with attached gauntlets?

[FONT= arial]I have a long sleeve winter base layer which is intended for skiing and it has a thumb holes. It pulls the sleeve inside my gloves, over my wrist, and palm. It doesn't allow cold air up my arm but I've never seen the same for warm weather riding. A friend has issues with skin cancer and rides. He and I looked around for arm protection with UV protection for warm weather riding. I never came across a similar product. [/FONT]

I am really not sure what you are looking for but maybe Barmitts will help. Google it.

Their are arm protectors made for use in warm weather that block to some degree UV light, but they don't have gauntlets. I've never seen any arm warmer or arm protector with "gauntlets". If you're opposed to gloves, your only other option is likely just putting on sun block. That's a pretty simple thing.

John Malkovich did wear these in "Dangerous Liasons". Maybe they'd help?

I guess if alienator's comment accomplished anything constructive, it showed that "gauntlet" may not have been the best choice of words. Fair enough. But cpurx's post was helpful and I've found a bunch of sleeves w/ thumb holes that give coverage to the wrist and back of hand. That was what I was thinking and it looks like they might do the trick. Ride on folks.

Of course you'll still have hand skin/fingers naked to the sun, but hey, don't let details get in the way. Sun block is so difficult to apply.
