Hi
October T,G,O. has a review of the Pro Action 1 man tent - just as they stop
selling it. Maybe Argos will now get in another container ship full ?

Same as we all know here - good tent, exceptional value.
Have fun,

Hi
Apparently Cameron McNeish (whoever he is ) is most impressed, almost his
tent of choice apparently. He does however say the porch is 'generous' and
one of the plastic clips has straightened, but a favourable review alround -

Isn't he the bloke who climbed all the Munros (or was it the Corbetts?)
without leaving the comfort of his armchair?--

camping site. The reviewer is the editor of TGO. One is pleased to see
that the editor has so many hillwalking contacts and sources of
information that he had to see one in a camping site before one of the
most talked about backpacking tents of the year came to his attention

Single skin (no fly sheet), say no more, unless that's what you

I suppose even with a flysheet added the problem would still be from
condensation, because the inner skin cannot breathe? It can, there's a big mesh covered hole in the roof, then another bit of
flysheet that goes over the top of the poles to stop vertical rain
getting in (not that there's a lot of point, it has no trouble getting
in through the seams).Paul

I was aware of that as I spent 3 nights in one, which I still have. I
was disappointed in the condensation problem and wondered about just
stretching a thin sheet over it.You could probably take it off completely if you're sure it won't rain.

I'll try it one day but as my local
had a pro action 1 man I bought that and will use it next time. That's what I exchanged mine for, a second PA 1 man.

Not worth bothering with. The one man ProAction is good; the
others... aren't.
