The Fasso train f'ed up today ..... there was only one rider left with
almost a kilo to go ............... The sprint came from the right side
of the field with the other sprinter's teams doing the work to out run
Fasso. By the time Pettachi realised he was in the wrong line and cut
over, the sprint was on.

Nice work by the other teams. They made it interesting.

I thought for sure that Piil and Wauters might have a shot at it too
......... too bad they got caught!

Good stage.

Tyler bit it and crashed on the first stage .... surprise surprise!!

Despite Phil & Paul's assertions, Tyler did not crash today per
cyclingnews.com ... He had a mechanical around the same time as another
rider's crash ... Coincidence, not crash.

Oscar Sevilla (Phonak) and Mario Cipollini (Domina Vacanze), according
to CN, both did close inspection of the pavement.
