Cali get that high humidity cold, so it feels colder than it really
is.

DA, with the wind chill, you wear some wind proof clothing. I'm coming
to CA to race in April and it's nice to know that not everyone will have
a head start on the season.

I will concede that humidity makes it feel colder, however I would
argue that leaving the house in a dry 25 degree climate feels colder
than a damn 55 degree climate...

We get some pretty nasty rain here from December thru February,
so there are a lot of days you cannot ride if you have a fulltime job.

Excuses (like that) are much easier to make than actual practice.

That;s why I look forward to April and continued nice weather and 3+
hour round trips to the office.

Last time I went for a ride in the rain (raining at the start of the
ride, not just getting caught in the rain) I got hit by a Suburban.
Rather, I hit a Suburban that pulled out in front of me.

Considering that I can get a MUCH better workout on the trainer than I
can tooling around in the rain (base miles excluded, of course) and
PROBABLY won't get hit by a car while on the trainer, I can't imagine
why I'd ever want to ride in the rain.

breaker.
I can survive nicely that way.
