I thought it was easier to detect, because the modifications that allow
it to be more effective essentially just keep it in the blood longer
(and in the urine for a few more days). I don't know how it shows up
on the acidic/basic isoform test. I thought there was still a high
demand for old fashioned EPO because it could be micro-dosed IV and
undetectable in the urine within about 12 hours. I guess a doper might
take a wasp in the inner tube at the beginning of a secret February
training camp and switch to old fashioned EPO closer to Wednesday
training races and especially for the races that really matter.

Super Mario seems to have preferred just the opposite preparation,
relying heavily the wasp in the inner tube during the meat of the
season.

Yes, more so than rhEPO.
