I'm still limping and in some pain after doing something similar so my
sympathies go to the cyclist. The photographer however should have very
painful things done to him.

So my "Never cycle through inviting-looking puddles" rule
is shown to be more than mere paranoia.

The photographer, however, is a tw@ of the first water.

Liu defended himself, saying: "I just knew that the city government
has paved the pit, and without my pictures, the pit would not be
noticed by the government, and there would perhaps be more people
falling over."

Did he ask the old geezer if he too was so desperate to highlight
the poor state of the roads that he'd take a faceplant for it?

Or maybe it's what they use instead of martlehats in China. I mean, it
has about the same efficacy.

If the photographer had stood by the pothol* warning people, eventually
someone would ignore him, or he would need to sleep, or the police would
stop him from blocking the road.

If he had written to the council, they would have promptly filled in
the pothol* about 10 months later.

I know he deserves the ars*hol* of the year for this, but the offical in
charge probaly had his ******** kicked for not filling the pothol*.
