anyone tried bigha yet?

I don't think you'll find many BigHa fans here, but why worry? They say they'll take the thing back,
at their cost, if you don't like it, so you'd have nothing to lose.

I think you'd be better off on a Rans Rocket for less than a third the price (and much much faster)
but what do I know...

I wonder how far you can ride it & still get a 100% refund OTOH doing so with the intent to get a
free weekend ride and accidently fall off it and it would be like..you wreck and you own it. I
suspect BigHa will be taking the bent to public cycling events in order for people to do demo
rides....wonder if there are any bike shows in Compton

Mine test bike should arrive in a couple of weeks. We will be giving this bike VERY thorough test.
It will be in our long term fleet for a few months.

Zach Kaplan planned to ride one for STP (Seattle to Portland)and I am sure has some comments to
share. The bike was inteneded to be a performance oriented bike such as the Rocket. I have to admire
their aggressive and inovative (for the recumbent industry) marketing.

I was just meaning that it will be in the long term fleet. I will try not to treat it much
differently, but I will TRY to get it wet due to all of the electronics. I usually get every test
bike wet, just not on purpose.

Zach did indeed do STP on a Bigha. I understand that he overnighted in Centralia- which means he was
at least 30 miles behind my wife and
me.

I actually stayed in Chehalis which is somewhat down the road from Centralia. I stayed there because
Kip and Rand Milam generously offered dinner and a place to stay for recumbent riders doing STP and
that is where their house is. I had a great time on STP and although the BiGHA is much slower than
what I normally ride I still ended up passing the majority of the riders I encountered. It seems
STP, at least the 2 day version is a casual ride that attracts a lot of casual cyclists who aren't
in to going fast. Some other year I'll do STP on one of my fast bikes in one day but I already had
my fast double this year, the Davis Double which has about twice as much climbing as STP and which I
completed in 11.5 hours total time this year.
