I started weight lifting about 6 months ago.
was told I either pinched or irritated my sciatica nerve.
I have been on my back as a result for the past 6 months.
it happened twice - was out of it for about 2 months then I felt better for
about 2 weeks.
started working out again and bam in bed again. I was unable to walk
no matter how many narcotics I took.
I am working with a doctor but would love to know how someone that wants
to start weightlifting handled it.
thank you

intended. Have you ever heard of a chiropractor? You'd be back lifting
in a day or two, instead of 6 months. MD's can do NOTHING for this
type of back problem except give you pills that only mask the pain,
but do nothing for your back. Bed rest has not been recommended for
back problems like this for years now. First, dump the [censored] whose been
treating you, and find a new MD. Next, look up a good chiro in the
yellow pages, or ask around. The older he is, the better chance he'll
get you moving again in a matter of a day or two.
That being said, send me any narcotics you have left ;?)~ -

So, sciatica affects trolls more than others, I guess.
Bye.

Cohen is right. This has to be a troll......

Or a really fat, stupid person. But you guys are right, no Dr would
give him narcotics for more than a week or so. If he did, I want his
name...
None of it makes sense. He's also "on his back" but shows us pics of
his motorcycle. I guess that'd appeal to these macho-dorks like
Hanson. -

Well seriously, nobody knows who you're talking to without quotes.
Questions the rest of this NG will ask, if they aren't already
ignoring you:
1. If you have no money, how do you afford a PC, and internet access?
2. Are you trying to say a MD gave you narcotics for 6 months? If so,
I want his name for my "pain" LOL
3. In 6 months of bedrest the Dr didn't send you to anyone else, like
surgeons? MRI? etc etc
4. well skip 4, I could go on and on and on, but somehow, I think
we've raised enough questions to spot a poor troll when we see it. -
lol - as you were.

wow that is pretty bad.. looking at the amount you post and that according
to my clock you have been here
since 9 am and its now 4:30pm - you have no life. and its probably due to
the way you react when
you THINK someone made a mistake. get out of the house [censored].Quoted message said:

a some what normal reply lol well for usenet.
ok i was not on my back for 6 months but I might as well have been.
i see no need to explain. one thing you people should realize that I
probably
hurt myself much more than those of you who are in shape have (physically
not mentally).
I am tried of dealing with the types that infest newsgroups.
i deal with it in the diabetes group because too many people like yourselves
like to play doctor with newbies. I should have expected their kind to be
here as well.
if you people where a little nicer you wouldnt have to socialize here but
could do it in the real world.
just a suggestion.Tom
ps.. get out of your house and away from the computer.Quoted message said:

well what do you know a somewhat normal reply.
I received a 100% of the firemen's physical 12 years ago.
I stopped working out soon after. 6 months ago I started up again
with the heart and will power I used to have.
not everyone irritates the sciatica nerve the same way.
well anyway.. im out of here.
im not surprised I have yet to find a news group that isn't filled with the
kind you have here.
and after a while that is the only kind that will find Usenet fun.
to the rest in here.. take a look out your window. its the real world
im out of here.

hours to write it. Just to embarass your pathetic fat [censored], I run 9
miles a day, and lift every other. You OTOH are a stupid, fat slob,
who layed on his dumb(_!_) for 6 months because his widdle back hurt.
I think the narcotics ate what little brain you had. -

really, really stupid. A lard lump who admits he can't run, can't
workout, and lays on his [censored] for 6 months, telling US to get a life?
