Anyone get the Lidl Walking Poles?

i got two when they was in the stores a few months ago. i havent used them a
great deal yet but i've no complaints with them at all

Still, got two pairs of hiking trousers. Excellent quality and only 15 Euro

There were no poles and no hiking trousers, but some specials are
regional. I bought a pair of fabric 'Hiking Boots' at £12.99 and a
pair of 'Outdoor Boots' at £4.99, and my lady friend bought two slightly
different pairs of the ladies Outdoor boots for £4.99 each.

The £4.99 ones, which we tried out for a few miles today, seem to be
incredible value, but I may return the £12.99 ones, which weren't worth
the difference.

There was a crowd round the boot counter, and I think I got the last
pair of 7½ at the higher price.

no expert, but they do the job they were intended for...

I didn't know they were doing walking poles at present. I bought a pair
of the hiking boots for GBP 12.99, though, and did a short walk out to
The Bull at Sonning, just to get a feel for them. About eight miles in
total I suppose. They feel a little tight in places, but my feet didn't
hurt at all, so I think they'll be fine.

Excellent value, I think.

PS. I also bought a couple of the windproof lighters. There's no
doubting their effectiveness, tested yesterday on the coastal path in
Dorset, but watch your eyebrows <g>.
