Any SRAM converts out there?

SRAM works fine, not finicky. Hated gripshifts, but the new triggers takes
it to a new level. Going XO rear Der. and Triggers after riding season ends.

I've been running their derailleurs for at least 4 years and have had one "reliability" issue. A 9.0sl had a "b" washer (I believe that's what SRAM called it) crack. SRAM had two at my door within a few days after talking with them though so it was taken care of. That one is still running strong and a 7.0 is doing just fine as well. The first one I had was working well when I replaced it. Just had to have the new...

I've had 2 diff SRAM derraileurs for different reasons, and loved them both. I've got the aluminum (looking?) 5.0 on my red bike, and it beats the old XT it replaced hands down. I'm fairly rough on that bike, and never a problem, going on 2 years beating it up.

Couple of years on a 9.0SL. No problems at all.

I've got a new set of trigggers waiting to go on the Cha if you want
to stop by and take a gander at them. I'm going XTR with the mechs
though.

I just swapped from XT pods/XT R der 8spd to X.o GS, x.0 Rder and put on Nokon cables.

I really like them. It took about a week to get used to the grip shifters.

I just Sunday installed my new X.9 triggers, X.0 cassette cluster, PC-69
chain and X.9 rear derailleur. Now I'm all SRAM on the back and all Shimano
up front. Well, except that I run a Shimano hub. Oh, and the SRAM front
shifter...

Nevermind.

Obviously I have no durability info to share, but it sure shifts nicely.

I've run mostly SRAM for a couple of years. The only durability problem I've had was with the cassettes. IMO, they're not as durable as Shimano cassettes. I also run an XT front DR because I haven't found a better, more reliable product.

I run gripshift and a SRAM rear DR without any problems.

I have a '99 9sl that still works fine. The jockey wheels have been
replaced but nothing else.

The Sram X9 rear derailleur I run on 2 of my bikes. I
run 9.0 up front. I also run 7.0 and 5.0 rear and front on my other
bikes. I've been total Sram on 3 of my bikes for a number of years now.
Out of 7 bikes 2 still run one front Shimano and two have Shimano in
the rear. All 7 run Sram Grip Shifters 5.0,7.0,and 9.0. I've
been pleased with Sram since 98.
