It wasn't a dark and stormy night when Rich.@. said:If Jan did not have a problem with headaches and someone
else took Elavil for headaches or pain Jan would be
critical posting articles about how conventional
medication does not deal with the root of the problem
and just covers up the problem. Jan is a hypocrite and
very narcissistic. She criticizes people for the exact
behavior that she engages in.
Rich is a cyberstalker and he has been stalking Jan for a
long time. John Bain
Rch's past record, which he has nuked since it shows a
pattern.

You see Connie I realize that you clearly are anxious about
your health and want to believe that these alternative
treatments are going to help prevent serious illnesses in
the future.
Quoted message said:And because it is so
important for you to have hope that these treatments work in
order to reduce your anxiety about your future health,
Quoted message said:I really do understand your anxiety about your future
health and your
need to really believe all these alternative remedies that
you take are going to protect you. And I understand your
need to convince yourself it is true even if it means making
up stories that will confirm your beliefs. And now that I am
thinking about it, it may be true that you are not really
lying. You may be so well defended and so anxious that you
may not even be aware that you are making up these stories
in order to convince YOURSELF that these alternative
treatments really work.
Quoted message said:You see Connie it is YOU who you are really trying to
convince that these
alternative treatments are working. If you stopped believing
them then your anxiety about getting ill in the future would
likely be so overwhelming as to be intolerable.
Quoted message said:Perhaps it is YOU who has the pathologic paranoia. Perhaps
it is YOU who is
so paranoid about getting ill that you will take any quack
remedy that comes down the pike because you don't have time
to wait for science to "prove" it.

Negative. Does this mean that I don't have to agree to
Jan's request to
cease and desist?? Of course her request presumes that I
have been stalking and harassing her.
Quoted message said:I am grateful for one thing; that Richard Jacobson is
not my real
name.Unfortunately the Richard Jacobson that DOES live in
Hawaii may not be too appy with my assuming his name for
purposes of the internet especially given the recent events.
He happens to live on a different island from me. I do plan
to contact him to let him know that someone may try to
harass him since heis listed in the phone book.

of Kauai still remains closed past Hanakoa due to the
reconstruction ofthe trail near "crawler's ridge". Estimated
date of completion is Mid May.Until then, camping will only
be permitted in Hanakapiai and Hanakoa Valleys. I for one am
anxious to have Kalalau open again. It has to be one of the
finest trails in the world.

Rich's hypocritical character:
Quoted message said:One shouldn't diagnosis on the net.
Quoted message said:I personally do not think it is ethical to do any form of
psychotherapy over
the phone unless you have previously had a face to face
relationship with a client and that person moved. I believe
that it is important to have face to face contact when
evaluating someone for a mental health problem or treating
that person. Body language and a person's appearance may be
an important part of an evaluation that you would miss if
you did it by telephone unless you had video conferencing
capability but even then it is a poor substitute for
actually being there IMO.
Quoted message said:I personally do not think it is ethical to do any form of
psychotherapy over
the phone Are you concerned about the limitations in make a
diagnosis without seeing the person in real life???

Quoted message said:I prefer whenever possible NOT to make things personal.

Poor Richard H. Jacobson
MHA is a discussion group to discuss alternative health
modalities. I choose to discuss the issue of whether Jan
Drew actually had mercury poisoning.
Ahola, Rich
In any case I will continue to pray to Saint Jude, patron
saint of lost causes, that something will happen that
prevents Jan from posting in thisnewsgroup since praying
that she will change would take more than a miracle.
Unfortunately my prayers have not yet been answered. However
I believe that there is justice in this world and soon my
prayers will be answered. I am patient.
Aloha

Quoted message said:Ooh, I've got an alternative to try!<g>
My mother overheard two women talking about how well this
stuff works so she got some for me to try, it's called
"Migrastick" and contains lavender and peppermint in a roll-
on vial... I haven't had a headache or migraine yet(only
got it 2 days ago) so I've not tried it myself.
I'd love stuff like this to work but I doubt it does much
more than give a feeling of coolness which while it
admittedly could be quite pleasant during a migraine would
be unlikely to stop it.

You might be surprised.
